At BlowUps, we bring brands to life with impressive, large-scale installations. Our latest creation? A massive blow-up of the Kia EV3, now on full display at Kia's headquarters right off the A2 highway in Breukelen, The Netherlands.
This eye-catching installation grabs the attention of over 150,000 drivers and passengers every single day.
The Giant EV3 is the latest project in a series of iconic blow-ups that we realized for Kia. Previously, we realized a green Giant Kia Picanto, which was painted orange in 2014 as a brand activation because of the World Cup in Brazil. In 2017 a newer model of the Picanto took its place, followed by the red EV3 in 2021. It is now shining together with the EV3 on the Kia catwalk.
These installations have proven how powerful 3D objects can be as a marketing tool and as recognizable eye-catchers along high-traffic locations.
A team of our craftsmen worked on the XXL Kia for six months from September 2024. The body was milled from 200 rigid foam blocks, assembled like a puzzle and worked on with fiberglass-reinforced polyester. The car was finished smoothly, painted in the specific Kia color and equipped with working lights. The detailed enlargement makes the resemblance to the “real EV3” unprecedented. Blowups also took care of the placement and transported the Kia from Heijen to Breukelen, which not only gave many spectators on location but also on the road.
